Guðjón

I am a trained philosopher, having completed a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Iceland (2002), Master of Arts degree in philosophy and psychoanalysis from the University of Essex (2004) and a Master of Science degree in the philosophy of mental disorder from King’s College University London (2010). I’ve studied life coaching at the Institute for Life Coach Training, continuing towards ICF accreditation and I am a certified philosophical consultant having completed Logic Based Therapy training.

I provide existential coaching both at the Psychology Consultation at Lækjartorg 5, in Reykjavík, Iceland, as well as providing coaching sessions remotely via Zoom or other platforms.

I have assisted individuals who are looking to lead more meaningful lives and feel an increased sense of purpose. I also assist individuals to work through the fear that accompanies life’s uncertainties and support them to find strength to confront the future and become authentic and sincere versions of themselves.

I do not view our difficult emotions and feelings in a negative manner as they offer us indications and clues as to what we need to confront and work through in order find more balance in our lives.

Existential coaching is a journey of self exploration that requires honesty, courage and self empathy, and it leads to a more liberated and meaningful life.
